Frequently Asked Questions

For families struggling with serious illness, hospice care means that you are never alone. If you do not see the information you need here, you can call us with any question, 24 hours a day at 844.422.3648.

  • My doctor or therapist wants me to take medication and I don't want to. What should I tell them?

Medication is a personal choice and should be discussed with a therapist and a medical doctor who can help you weigh the pros and cons.  Tell your medical professional if you do not want to take medication—there is no medication for grief. Be your own advocate; it’s okay to say no.
