Donna Plasket has held leadership positions in several educational and cultural institutions, including: Founding Director, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Virginia; Associate Director, Women's Center, University of Virginia; Research Associate and Project Director, "Lincoln Center Institute Project’” Harvard University; Researcher/Consultant/Evaluator/Educator, cultural and educational institutions in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
Educated at Harvard University, Donna received her doctorate in Higher Education Administration and a master’s degree in Administration, Planning and Social Policy. She also earned a master’s degree in Choral Conducting and a bachelor’s degree in Voice from Westminster Choir College.
Her recent board memberships and offices held include: Hospice of the Piedmont Board, Chair; Dean’s Advisory Council, Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Chair; College Board, Piedmont Virginia Community College; Educational Foundation Board, Piedmont Virginia Community College, Governance Chair; Women’s Center Advisory Council, University of Virginia; Women Education Leaders in Virginia, President; Oratorio Society of Virginia, President; Ash Lawn Opera Guild, President; Ash Lawn Opera Board, Vice President, President-elect; Piedmont Council for the Arts, Board Development Chair. Currently she serves on the boards of Palm Beach Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Palm Beach Public School Strings Foundation and Palm Beach Civic Association and committees of Impact The Palm Beaches and the United Way.
