While grieving a loss is a common and natural experience, grief itself is unique and different for everyone. There is no way for anyone to understand exactly how you feel.  If you feel like your support group is not helping, try a loss-specific support group, which is a support group for people who have had a similar loss (for example, loss of a spouse or partner, loss of a child, loss to cancer, loss by suicide, etc.). You may also wish to try one-to-one counseling with a grief counselor.
