FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Trustbridge announced that the not-for-profit, end-of-life care provider was the grateful recipient of a $50,000 Grief Reach grant from the New York Life Insurance Company Foundation, presented to Trustbridge in a check presentation ceremony held this week.
The grant will support the Sea Star children’s grief support program, which brings valuable bereavement support to children and teenagers in Broward County. Counselors and staff with the Trustbridge bereavement department were joined by the New York Life Foundation and Dr. Rosalind Osgood, Board Member of Broward County Public Schools.
Trustbridge bereavement programs provide children of all ages with grief support services such as individual counseling, support groups, day and weekend camps with indoor and outdoor activities, and family fun nights. All of Trustbridge's grief support groups, workshops and family activities are free of charge and open to everyone in the community who has lost a loved one.
