The University of Miami/JFK Medical Center Palm Beach Regional Graduate Medical Education Consortium selects two fellows each year to participate in the Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine (Consideration will be given to other board-certified or eligible disciplines, depending on the candidate's prior professional training)
- An unrestricted license and active DEA license to practice medicine in the state of Florida (if already in practice) at the time training begins
- A minimum one-year commitment
