The Virtual Sea Star Program's Camps 2020
Trustbridge

It is the priority of Trusbridge to safeguard the health and well-being of our patients and families at all times. To keep our tradition of community outreach going, our 2020 camps will be conducted virtually. We have temporarily suspended all group bereavement counseling.

The Sea Star Program's Virtual Club Seahorse and Camp Good Grief 2020

Club Seahorse: Monday October 19, 2020 9:00am - 2:00pm

Virtual Camp Good Grief – December 5th, 2020 (times and registration info TBA)

The Sea Star Program's Virtual Club Seahorse is just around the corner! Our campers have one thing in common—they all know what it is like to lose someone very special. Virtual technology will allow this year's Club Seahorse to take place in a safe and virtual environment, where our campers can share stories and engage in music, art, activities and games. There is no charge to attend.

Virtual Club Seahorse is for children ages 8 - 12. Both camps are open to children living in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Throughout the sessions, virtual campers will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify ways to cope with change
  • Improve self esteem
  • Learn to recognize and validate feelings
  • Identify safe ways of grief expression
  • Recognize that having fun and celebrating are still a part of life
